35 Tomorrow
Tomorrow's my birthday. Turning 35, which still sounds old to me. (Although no doubt most people probably think the same thing about themselves, no matter what age they are).
Having a day at home with the family. Mum is cooking up two of my favorite foods - steak diane and pavlova.
Weather was really nice today so went for a swim at the beach.
I've spent the last couple of weeks revising some of my Clarion stories. It's taking a while, but I'm pleased at how the revisions are coming along. Haven't done any new writing yet.
I'm organised some travelling for next month. On March 18th I'll be in a Melbourne for a week. Catching up with lots of friends, including hopefully the Clarionites.
Then on the 25th I'm flying across to Perth for a few days. The last time I visited Perth was in 1987. It's probably a bit different now!
Then I'm going to take the Indian Pacific train from Perth. It leaves on the 29th in the morning and gets into Sydney on the 1st. 3 days on a train should be interesting. I like travelling by train and wanted to do the trip across Australia.
Then I'll have a few days in Sydney before going back to the Gold Coast.
